Application Development: EAC Statistics Database Portal

Design, development and implementing a web-based statistics database for the East African Community (EAC) whose objectives are: (a) Facilitate the sharing, exchange and comparability of statistical information among the Partner States in the East African region; (b) Strengthen the statistical capacity of the EAC Secretariat in dissemination of statistical information covering the Partner States; and (c) Enable wider sharing of statistical information and extend and promote the EAC brand to a global marketplace as a major investment block. This was initially implemented for there EAC Partner States of Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda.
